A beautiful service for a beautiful soul..

He fought a war that the world couldn't see,
With a heart that just wanted to wander and be.
He was the laughter, the "big kid," the light,
A soul who found magic in everyone’s sight.
And though the deep shadows grew heavy and cold,
And he lost the battle he fought so bold,
The sweetness he planted didn't wither away,
It’s waiting inside us to brighten the day.
So when your own darkness starts whispering fears,
And the weight of the world brings the salt of your tears,
Reach down for the child who is tucked far inside,
The one with the wonder that never has died.
Lift them up gently, give them your hand,
And lead them back out to a sunnier land.
For the best way to love him and honor his spark,
Is to refuse to let childhood get lost in the dark.
Keep your eyes wide for the magic he knew,
Let his spirit of play be the strength that pulls through.
For every small smile is a victory won,
A way to keep walking toward the glow of the sun.
He’s not truly gone if we stay soft and kind,
And treasure the "forever young" heart he defined.

Sweet dreams Steven ♡

Steven
I've been trying to find the right words and the truth is, nothing ever feels enough.
Your infectious smile, your liberating laugh and your boundless energy could light up any place. You didn't just walk into a room, you filled it. And somehow, you made everyone else feel like they belonged there too.
The joy you gave, the kindness you showed and the memories you left behind, they're not going anywhere. You've left a mark on all of us and you will forever hold a special place in my heart.
I'm deeply saddened I cannot be there to help send you off. The conflict made it impossible.

Thank you for the memories and for always showing up. Your legacy will live on always.
Wherever you are, I hope you found peace. Miss you forever cuz.

I only knew Steve for a short time, but he left a mark on me that I won’t forget. There was something about him a warmth,an energy,a kindness that you just don’t come across often. You could tell straight away he was a good man. Forever in our hearts.

Shocked and saddened to hear the news. My thoughts are with all of the family.

Steve was such a smiley, cheeky chap. He was such a genuine, kind soul who had time for anyone at school. He will not be forgotten!
