A truly inspirational lady , extremely happy memories of all the sport Mrs Downey encouraged us to take part in , especially netball which several of our year group went on to play for a further forty years. Thank you 💐

Thinking of you Alison, Steven and families at this very sad time, your wonderful mum was truly beautiful inside and out, so warm and kind whilst so strong. I was so lucky to have had her and your dad as neighbours. Rest in peace dearest Beryl as you reunite with Bob. Love and hugs to you all from Kim, Oliver and Lydia xxx

Today we say our final goodbyes to you, Nanna. By you will never be forgotten! In the passed month, the number of nods to you that the world has presented me with has been so comforting. You certainly will live on inside us all. Sleep tight

Our very sincere condolences to Alison, John, Steven, Helen, not forgetting Kiera, Liam, Oliver and Samuel and all of Beryl's family. What a true lady she was, warm and very comforting to everyone who was lucky enough to have met her. She will be remembered for many things - personally, we'll never forget all of the above attributes, but also for her delicious pastry ! We often chatted about cookery, which will stay with me. This very brave lady will be sorely missed.

Beryl has been a most dear, wonderful, kind and caring family friend for the last 65 years and will be missed so very much. It's true that many friends come into our lives but only a few, like Beryl, leave with their footprints on our hearts. So, Beryl, time may pass and fade away but memories of you will always remain in our hearts.

Beryl was a truly special lady - always dignified, impeccably presented, and with a smile that could light up any room . It was an honour to care for her and to share many stories and memories over the years that we spoke of so fondly. There are some patients that just stay with you and Beryl will be one of them. I will always remember Beryl with great affection . She will be dearly missed .

We first met Beryl when Helen met and married Steve and were struck by how caring and welcoming she was. She has been an inspiration over the years and always a pleasure to be with. She will be sorely missed.
