Nottinghamshire Hospice were amazing in the last few weeks of my dad’s life. They came in the middle of the night when I needed help and stayed over on the odd occasion all night to give me a break. I was so grateful for their support and hope others will donate as well. Thank you.

Dad not only had lung cancer but Prostrate cancer years ago.. Luckily the Prostrate cancer was caught in time. Without research and testing I could have lost my amazing dad years ago.

Everyone thinks their dad is the best but my dad was perfect. I wouldn’t have changed a thing about him. We had a special dad, daughter relationship and would often just bust into laughter together at something we had seen or done. We joked with each other, teased each other, played tricks on each other and worked side by side on so many projects. We had long conversations on football or politics but luckily we were always on the same side fighting the world together. He was my rock and someone I knew would always have my back and support me come what may. I’m going to miss you so much but I promise to look after mum as you made the perfect team and she’s going to be lost without you. Love you dad. xxx💔💔
