Damon Nicky John O'nions-Cairns (15 Jun 1985 - 13 Jan 2026)

In loving memory of Damon Nicky John O'nions-Cairns who sadly passed away on 13th January 2026 in his mums arms 😞Damon was born in Bridlington the family moved to Scarborough where Damon 🐒 went to Pinder School and then then to Brompton School he had many friends and he was quite a character cheeky at that we all then moved as a family into her house in town with family to grow with his siblings, he made new friends, but I suppose he found a new way with friends who smokes cannabis and he did a lot of bonging if that’s what it’s called with cannabi,He was a careing son and he loved his dad and his mum family I hope you feel very much and he would help out all he could he’s been through so much in his life was a great Uncle and loved all the children no matter what they age he would protect them or try to and he was the same with old people and people that needed help he met Bernadette they had a Son together they had many years together not all perfect, but they loved each other very much. They got married and what a beautiful wedding it was and to see him so happy with his family ❤️and yesyou could hear Damon coming with his mouth it was just him barking ha ha and people who knew Damon 🐒 properly knew this because he did have one and he wanted you to know that he did.😉 Suddenly, Damon 🐒was trying to protect somebody that was not capable of helping their selves and plus one of these people had hurt his family so Damon did what he’s always done being Damon and suddenly this night Damon was kicked in the head a number of times he walked away from this fight and went home to bed. He just didn’t wake up properly. He had a subdural haemorrhaged to his brain, a lot of damage to his brain and he fell asleep. My brave boy have no more fight left in him and we’ve all had to say goodbye to him. He will always be forever in our hearts, Damon had more life’s than a 🐈‍⬛ cat he just ran out of lifes good night Son God bless💔 X
