In loving memory of Dean Killock who sadly passed away on 22nd February 2026. Dean was a wonderful husband, amazing dad and adored grandad - he was ‘simply the best.’ Ronnie called him ‘his best friend.’

He will be hugely missed by all his family; Carol, Shane, Ross and Greg, his grandchildren, Jaxson, Indie and Ronnie, as well as Jasmine and Charlotte.

No one had a bad word to say about him; no matter how he felt, particularly over the last twelve months, he always had a smile on his face and kind words for everyone he met.

For those wishing to pay their respects, Dean’s funeral will be held at 10:30am on Monday 30th March, at Huddersfield Crematorium, 64 Fixby Road, Huddersfield Road, HD2 2JF.

After the ceremony, please join us in celebrating dad’s life at New Mill Club, Sheffield Road, New Mill, Holmfirth, HD9 7JT.

Please indicate if you will be attending the funeral and/ or wake by clicking the ‘Attend Funeral’ button on Dean’s obituary.

If you cannot make the funeral, please contact Dean’s family for the live-stream link.

Family flowers only. Please donate in memory of Dean to The Kirkwood (Kirkwood Hospice) via the link on this page.

oh my. This is so sad. I went to school with Dean and we had fun times in those days. Later in life I had the pleasure of reuniting with him several times on my visits from the USA to the UK and was always interested in his exploits to spain etc. My heart goes out to Carol and his family. RIP ....
