Charlotte and I went to school together at the Minster. We were in a few lessons together and whilst we weren’t close friends, we always said hi to one another and she always came across as a genuine nice person. After school, several years passed and then one day I got a friend request from Charlotte. It was lovely to be back in touch with someone I hadn’t seen for so long and we reminisced about old times and mutual friends and people we were still in contact with like Nicola and Matt. After what was probably several more years, we’d lost contact once again through having different Facebook accounts, busy lives etc and then about three or 4 years ago the same thing happened again. My point is that whilst we were never close friends, Charlotte has pretty much always been there as a friendly, kind acquaintance and someone to remember fondly from school. The fact that she is no longer there is absolutely tragic and I can empathise for the loss that her family and very close friends are feeling at this time. We were all fortunate to have known Charlotte and I count myself lucky to have my own memories of her and to have been so inspired by her unrelenting positivity and strength through her battle with cancer. She was one of a kind and I will always remember her. RIP Charlotte and best wishes to all your friends and family now and always. ❤️

I’m so gutted and sorry for Charlotte and her family, we were both on the same chemo schedule and she was so tough and positive throughout cancer. She reached out to me when I first found out I had cancer and for that I’m forever grateful. She handled her illness with grace and positivity. I’m sincerely sorry for all her friends and family as she truly was a beautiful person, but I hope you all heal well and carry her memory with you always ❤️

I remember when you worked for Belvoir home care and you were telling me about how you were going to work with Hayley in her new adventures as a Cleaner. I remember spot checking you to make sure that you were doing your job correctly. Cannot remember what I put down on my piece of paper as to whether you were doing a good job or not. You are now a beautiful angel taken too soon but you live on in everyone’s hearts.
