In loving memory of Carol Atkinson who sadly passed away on 8th February 2026.
A dearly loved Mum,Nanna,Great Nanna, Sister,Auntie,Wife and Partner.

After months of illness Mum sadly passed away at home surrounded by her loving family.
We take comfort in knowing she's now at peace, most likely with a crochet hook and some wool in hand.

The funeral will be held at Rose Hill Crematorium on Monday 23rd February at 11.00am.
Family flowers only please but donations can be made to 2 charities close to Mum and family.

If you'd like to join the family in paying your respects please attend Rose Hill and then you are welcome to join us for the celebration of Mum's life at The Royal British Legion, West End Lane Rossington.

Thank you for always helping my dad with his social phobias and doing the boring shopping chores! and always being by his side, albeit in the greenhouse!! And now I hope he is with you. I wish I had told you more about how grateful I was. I hope you are now at peace, surrounded by love. Never to be forgotten X

In all our years together, I don't think there's been a time where we'd been lost for words. But I've tried to write this message a few times over and it just doesn't seem to flow right. My funny amazing Mum, I'll miss you forever. I'll always think fondly of our shared love of the Dales. Also.. whenever I see green sweets I'll remember our last words "Love you lots like Jelly Tots" "But not the snotty green ones" 💚
Miss you so much Mum,glad you're now at rest. Xxx
