David John Shapland, 44, passed away peacefully in Worthing on February 5th, 2026 at St Barnabas hospice. Born in Redhill on March 5th, 1981, David was a man of remarkable talent, warmth, and wit.
Known for his fierce loyalty and his ability to make anyone laugh, David was the heart of his family. He is deeply mourned by his devoted wife, Emma; his parents, Trisha and Paul; and his sisters, Paula, Hannah and Katie
A true creator at heart, David found great joy in the world of 3D printing and design. Whether he was keeping up with the latest tech reviews, enjoying a game of snooker, or relaxing with a finely crafted cocktail, David embraced his passions with enthusiasm. His legacy of kindness and his appreciation for life’s simple pleasures will be cherished forever by those who loved him.
