In loving memory of Anthony Curtis who sadly passed away on 1st February 2026 aged 66 years.
Tony was born in Australia and grew up in a small village in Nottingham. He joined the army after being a junior leader, and rose to the rank of WO2. He was very proud to be a Royal Engineer and loved travelling the world.
He made many friends while serving and was well known for his sense of humour.
After leaving the army, he worked in a variety of jobs and was a HGV driver prior to retirement.
He was a nature lover who enjoyed walking his dogs and spotting birds. He was a keen photographer and had a great interest in DIY. He built his own bar in the back garden which he painted in Royal Engineer colours.
Tony will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

Great Times
Sapperfest. After the food quite often had a great chat whilst we washed up all the pots and pans. Always brought a smile to our faces, especially his proudness of the Postie flag and his battles to get it high on the pole. RIP you will be missed. Tiny
