David sadly passed away peacefully at home on 28th January 2026, aged 88 years. Beloved husband to Brenda, loving dad, grandad and great grandad, and a friend to many. Dave will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
Funeral will be at 11:00 on Monday 23rd February at Rolleston on Dove church. Family flowers only please.

I remember Mr Herriman dearly from my time as a an apprentice at Pirelli training school 1979-1980. I’m sure that he is remembered fondly by many of us who passed through that place. He was a great instructor and taught us many valuable skills. I think I drove him mad with some of my antics as a young lad, but I always sensed a kindness with him. RIP.
Just read this. So sorry to hear the news. A kind man who always looked after me in my early working life many years ago. Not forgotten.
A wonderful man, who gave us many good gardening tips. Will be missed very much.
