In loving memory of Sheila Blackhurst who sadly passed away on 24th January 2026. Sheila was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who always loved a day trip out, a picnic (most likely in a car park!), lunch on a Friday and a good saunter around the shops!

She loved bright colours, so we ask that black is avoided when we celebrate her life.

  • Sheila and I met at our first day in school and for the next 75 years we're close friends although living miles apart our families met at Christmas and in the summer. We shared happy times and sad times but had so much laughter together especially the saga of the hairy pickled onion which always made her laugh. They say we are all made up of stardust and Sheilas star must have been the brightest, thank you my friend for everything. Anne ( Jones) Johnson and husband Malcolm.
