Well mum you’ve finally given up and gone to join our dad, a match made in heaven. You were an amazing mum in every way; always there, always smiling, never down, so supportive and so protective when we (your boys) were in trouble. Love you tons mum x

Nana,

I will always remember laughing with you! You would snort when you laughed which made it all so much funnier. You had a great sense of humour nan, I can hear you laughing now, watching home alone. Or how about the time you stepped in the wet cement at Pauline’s house? We laughed about that for years afterwards!

I loved how proud of me you were. You would always be one of my biggest cheerleaders when I got a new job or did well at University and you always showed so much interest. I loved to sit and chat with you, you’d always stop what you were doing when I arrived and sit with me to chat. I think you loved that as much as I did.

You had a big, happy smile that will stay with me forever. I am only sorry that my Albie wont have the same memory of you; that he didn’t get the chance to really get to know you. You would love him nan, he’s cheeky, he’s loving and he loves a chat with the old ladies.

You were always perfectly dressed, hair done and looking immaculate – well other than the day that you went out wearing one black shoe and one navy blue shoe! I have so many memories of you, too many to list and it makes me smile that all of those memories of you include us laughing and you smiling! You didn’t do the “lovey-dovey” stuff but we all knew how much you loved us and I hope you knew how much we loved you.

I’m so sorry nan that I didn’t come and see you much in the last few years. I wanted to remember you as you were and as you will always be to me; my lovely, funny, well spoken and big hearted nana. We were so lucky to have you growing up and I will miss you forever.

Please watch over my dad and help keep him safe. Give Grandad and Ray a kiss from me. Sleep tight nan, I love you x

All our love forever and always, Lauren, Tony and Albie xxx

I’ve been trying to find the right words to say goodbye to you Nana, but no words will ever really do you justice. You were full of love, laughter, and a cheeky sense of humour that could make anyone smile, even on the hardest days. Being with you was always warm, fun, and full of memories I will treasure forever.

There are so many stories I could share, little moments, big laughs, quiet chats, and all the love in between. I’ll hold each and every one of them in my heart forever.

It was hard to watch someone so full of life slowly fade, and there were times it hurt more than I can put into words. But even in that, your spirit, your laughter, and your love never left us. You are still here in every smile, every memory, and every story we tell.

Nana, thank you for the laughs, the hugs, and the endless love. I will miss you more than words can say, but I will carry you with me forever.

I love you Nana, sleep peacefully, until we meet again ❤️

Enid, we met nearly 50 years ago through work, and became good friends instantly, little did I know that one day I would be part of your family. I have so many lovely memories, working with you and for you, going to Johnny Mathis concerts, visiting Betty in Spain are just a few. Enid I felt your loss when we could no longer laugh and reminisce and when you no longer knew who I was. Rest peacefully now. Love you Carol xxx
