Dear Bernie, our neighbour for 45 years, we have missed seeing you in your front garden, keeping it looking immaculate these last few years, and we are sad that we will no longer see you sitting on your bench with a cup of tea, wearing your jaunty hat.
We will miss you and send our sincere condolences to Jean and the whole family.
