On 3rd January 2026, peacefully in hospital, of Thornhill, Dewsbury, aged 77 years, Denise, beloved daughter of the late Kenneth and Mavis Heylings, dearly loved sister of Alison and the late David Kenneth, very dear sister-in-law of David, a much-loved auntie and great auntie. Funeral service will take place at Dewsbury Moor Crematorium on Friday 6th February 2026 at 10:30am. Relatives and friends please accept this intimation. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu may be made online or placed in the collection box provided for the benefit of the Forget Me Not Hospice.

I was very fortunate to work with Denise for many years at Highfield J.I school and she was a caring and committed teacher who always had the children at the heart of everything that she did!I remember her as a very valued kind , popular member of staff with a great sense of humour .
