In loving memory of Melody Cecelia Bateman who sadly passed away on 25th December 2025 Mel is my darling wife who was sadly taken from me on 25th December. She had a love of life and her main passion was her cruises which she was always looking for the next one to book. She was loving and kind to anyone who needed help and advice and loved nothing more than being at home with our little dog Joshua, pottering in the garden or taking him for walks. I was able to hold her in my arms while she peacefully passed but even though my heartbreak I promised to make her proud and look after our Joshua. So please darling I'll meet you on the other side when my time comes
Always in my heart my darling Mel xx ❤️

Teresa , words can’t really express just how sorry both myself and Julie are that you have lost your lovely Mel.
She was always nice to us both whenever we came into work . She had such a dry sense of humour and a lovely caring heart.
Life can be so cruel and this really is so unfair for this to be happening to two wonderful people who had so much to live for.
Unfortunately we won’t be attending the funeral but we will say a prayer for you both on the day and I dare say we will be meeting up with you at sometime in the near future when you next visit your beloved Bude.
Sending all our love.
Mick and Julie Brown
Cornwall.

  • God bless you my lovely. Thinking of you both tomorrow. Just as well we won’t be coming to the funeral as I’m currently suffering from really bad flu symptoms. Take care .❤️
