In loving memory of Bruce Arthur Fisher who sadly passed away on 23rd December 2025.

Bruce was a dearly loved husband, father, brother, friend and an avid sportsman who will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was loved beyond words and his passing leaves a huge hole in our hearts.

Bruce’s funeral service will take place at:
Rushcliffe Oaks Crematorium
Tuesday 20th January at 1:15pm

All who knew him are welcome to attend, no need to wear black and please join us afterwards at the wake to share memories, laughter and stories as we celebrate his life.

Please let us know if you will be attending the funeral using the button on this site so we have an idea of how many people to expect on the day - thank you.

Family flowers only please but those who wish can donate here via the Just Giving link to the Ruth Strauss Foundation. The charity support families such as ours facing an incurable cancer diagnosis and help to drive research into non-smoking lung cancers. I met Bruce as a rowing parent and we shared a proud parent moment walking along the Boston canal watching Ollie and Alfie at GB trial together. He was a very warm, kind and generous person.
Alfie, Oscar and I hold his wife and children in our thoughts and hearts during this devastating time and in the weeks, months and years ahead. x

Bruce - you will live long with us all, especially on Sunday morning rides and open water lakes. A true friend.

Will cherish the memories shared on the bike. You always rode with a smile on your face no matter how hard it go.

Only met Bruce a few times and only positive things to say from those meetings. A sad loss.
