In loving memory of Angela Shand who died 13/11/25.
At Angela’s funeral service on Sunday 28th December 2025 at Cornerstone Fellowship Church, St Ann’s, those who came to celebrate Angela’s life witnessed her impact on those she had met throughout her packed 53 years through the tributes people brought. Family and friends truly had the opportunity to say goodbye in proper Angela Shand style. We took it to church (Jeez 🙌🏻) worshipping and dancing to the wonderful gospel band that did her proud.
We were reminded that Angela was one-of-a-kind. She did things unapologetically her own way and at the crematorium service at Gedling Crem we had the chance to sing her final goodbye with her, to King Tappa’s “My Way”. Angela always had to be admired for being authentically herself. She couldn’t be anything other than herself whatever the situation. She loved fiercely, lived boldly and took no prisoners and we are all the better for having known and loved her.
Thank you to everyone that shared their Angela Shand stories and how they merged with yours. The family thanks everyone who attended for sending her off in style.

I have know you since I was 16. Alice, you & Eli, and the 3 of you have been such a huge part of my life, all separately but Angela & survived life out there together, she held me up in some devastating times as I did her nearer to the time when we'd had enough xx I can just see the joke we ran, & werent there many?? I can hear you laugh right now, & cant believe i wont bump into you anymore xx Condolences to the family yet bare love to Eli xx
