In loving memory of Jean Maureen Short who sadly passed away on 17th December 2025, joining her husband Bob on what would have been his birthday. A wonderful Mother to Chris, Janice and Kay. A fabulous Grandmother to Liane, Sam, William, Laura, Olivia, Angus, Dan and Joe. A fantastic Great Grandmother to Roman, Callum, Thea and Oliver. She was “the hostess with the mostess”, always ready to have a coffee, biscuit and a chat. Jean was very much loved by all that knew her and will be missed tremendously by her friends and family.

The family of Jean wish to thank all that attended her funeral yesterday and for the kind words and condolences offered by those that were unable to be there to all the family.
Many thanks for the very kind donations in Jean's name received both online and at the crematorium. Arrangements will be made for all monies to be put towards the nominated charities in her name, both of which were close to Jean's heart and we are certain that donations will be put to excellent use.
The funeral, although difficult for us all was a good celebration of a long, well lived life and we are grateful to those that were able to attend and join us.
Jean will be very greatly missed by all her family and friends. A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, great aunt and friend
Thank you from us all
Chris, Janice, Kay and family

Our Nana, the matriarch of the family.

You travelled the world, lived life to the fullest and left no stone unturned.

We will always remember the day you told us you'd been everywhere you wanted to be and seen everything you wanted to see.

You'll be loved and cherished forever xxx
