After leaving the Royal Navy in 1974, I wasn't in contact with Mike until about 2012 and I saw him again in 2014. Mike was always a very 'Special Friend' and I shall miss him terribly. My wife Kate also met him in 2014 and she was very fond of him and his lovely wife Pam.
