In loving memory of Olivia Mary Watkins (1943 – 2025)

It is with great sadness that I share that my mother, Olivia Mary Watkins, has passed away. She was born on 9th May 1943 in County Meath, Ireland, and passed away at the age of 82 on 11th December 2025 in Nottingham.

She leaves behind three brothers, three sons, three grandsons, and five granddaughters.

She was deeply loved, and many of you will have known her in different seasons of life. If you did, and would like to come and pay your respects, you would be very welcome.

Her Funeral Mass will be held at:

Church of the Holy Spirit, Victoria Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham, NG2 7NT
Friday 23rd January 2026
10:30am – 11:30am

Dress code: Bright and cheerful as Olivia would have wanted

The cremation will take place at approximately 12:00 noon at:

Rushcliffe Oaks Crematorium, Main Road, Stragglethorpe, Nottingham, NG12 2PY

The Wake will be held afterwards at:

Portobellos, 294 Carlton Hill, Carlton, Nottingham, NG4 1GD

To make travel easier for those who wish to attend, a London double-decker bus will depart from the Church of the Holy Spirit at approximately 11:40am, travel directly to the crematorium, and then continue on to Portobellos for the wake, before returning to the church at around 3:00pm.
