In loving memory of Jayne Bateman who sadly passed away on 27th November 2025.

Please join to celebrate the sparkling life of Jayne, an incredible Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Aunty, Niece and Friend to many. The funeral ceremony will be held at Gedling Crematorium on Friday 9th January 2026 at 12:00 Midday, followed by the wake at the Vale Pub in Daybrook, Nottingham from 13:00 onwards.

It has been said that 'It is not the years in your life that matter, but the life in your years'. Jayne certainly filled her years with life. We invite you to join to remember that life on the 9th January 2026 and give her the celebration she deserves, in true Jayne Bateman style.

Please note it will be family flowers only on the day. All donations are to be made to Hayward House Hospice, to whom the family will be eternally grateful for the exceptional, loving care that Jayne and the rest of the family received in her final days.

I’ll miss our chats, our laughs, our shopping lists for Steve while he’s walking round Sainsburys, but most of all I’ll miss you. I’m sorry I can’t be there today but I’ll be watching from Galway and raising a glass of fizz/guinness in your honour. I know that Steve and the children will do you proud. Love to you all xxx
