Peacefully on November 17th aged 93 years, Joe. The devoted husband of the late Gwen, much-loved dad of Paul and loving father-in-law of Gloria, dearly loved grandad of David and Pamela, Karl and Rebecca, and great-grandad of Piper, Tia, Spike and Ellie. The family wish to extend their sincere thanks and gratitude to Regents View Nursing Home for their dedication and care towards Joe.
Family and friends please meet on Thursday December 4th for a service in Durham Crematorium at 10:30am. Family flowers only, donations in lieu kindly received for the work of Marie Curie. A donation box will be available at the crematorium.

Have many happy memories growing up with Joe and gwen as our neighbours.. Joe not only got me a bike but spent ages running up and down the street until I got my balance bless him xx They also took me to see the open top bus as it passed houghton when Sunderland won the cup 1973 xx God bless Joe and may you be reunited with Gwen xx ❤️ condolences to family xx love Paula Melton ❤️
