Peter Rogerson (9 Dec 1943 - 8 Nov 2025)

In loving memory of Peter Rogerson who sadly passed away on 8th November 2025 from brain cancer. Husband to Dorothy and dad to Sarah, Jonny, Jamie, Hayley and Katie; Peter had 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was a kind, funny, eccentric and loving man and he is going to be truly missed. He worshipped his wife who he met on MySpace 18 years ago, over those years, they have been blissfully happy whether travelling or, in his favourite place, at home. As a dad, he was special, a single father in the 80s, he was always there, gently and often comically. A quirky man full of obsessions, eccentricities, too-short shorts and funny faces. We are all going to miss him so much but he will live on in our memories and the lessons he taught us.

Any donations, rather than flowers, are appreciated to Nottinghamshire Hospice. While we were caring for Dad, the hospice provided respite for the family via night sitters. We were exhausted but determined to keep Dad at home; whatever support we received from the hospice was a chink of hope in a very sad time. Their staff were always wonderful and made our lives a little bit easier.
