In loving memory of Don Moar, who passed away peacefully at home following a short illness on Sunday 26th October 2025, at the grand age of 92 years.

Don was recognised for his long, successful career in the funeral profession, beginning with his father’s business in Widnes, Lancashire. He later held senior management roles with the Cooperative Funeral Service. He was BIFD President 1990-91. Later he developed education programmes and taught the next generation of young professionals.

Don's other significant associations and activities included: Widnes Camera Club (1960s to 1970s); The Round Table (followed by 41 Club), and Probus.

He is survived by his wife, Sylvia, and his three children, Karen, Susan and Peter.
