In loving memory of 'Ted' Edward Ernest Hickford who sadly passed away on 26th October 2025 following a rapid decline in his health. He was admitted to hospital on 2nd October where he was diagnosed with Primary oesophageal cancer with secondary metastasis to the liver. We then transferred him to Nyton House Care Home in Chichester, where he received superb palliative care for his final days. He was surrounded by love and kindness and is now at peace.
Dear Friends and Family
We would love for you to join us in celebrating the life of our dear dad, Ted (Edward Ernest Hickford), who passed away peacefully on 26th October.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1.00pm (arrival from 12:45) on Wednesday 19th November at Cissbury Barns, Nepcote, Findon, BN14 0SR.
Rather than a sombre occasion, we hope this gathering will be filled with warmth, laughter and fond memories - a reflection of the generous spirit and joy Dad brought to so many lives. We’ll share stories, music and moments that capture what he meant to us all.
Please come as you are and as you feel comfortable. Your presence, memories and friendship will mean a great deal to us, as we honour a life well lived with love, humour, and kindness.
If you are able to attend, please let us know your numbers by 12th November by replying to this email, so we can cater for all.
