Dearest Gill, Chris and all the family on the other side of the world,
Despite the distance Aunty Terry was much loved. Our relationship grew over the years through visits to England and New Zealand, phone calls, cards and letters. She supported me in happy and sad times and modelled for me how to be an Aunt to my own nieces and nephews. I have so many memories, sitting around the table chatting at Maunders Close, sharing memories of Nana and Grandad, listening to Terry playing the organ, Christmas dinner with amazing Yorkshire pudding, Dickens festivals, lots of shopping together, choosing material and wool which Terry made into garments, welcoming my boyfriends and husbands over the years. Then our Europe trip, Austria, Switzerland, travelling down the Rhine and where Aunty Terry would volunteer to join in the fun at tourist shows. Then, when my son Levi and I were in England memories of going to Diggerland in Rochester, shopping for soccer gear and so much more. Aunty Terry came to a few weddings in New Zealand which was amazing travelling so far for those significant events! Her presence made the days even more special. I loved her so much. She will always hold a piece of my heart. Thinking of you all at this difficult time. Much love Amanda
Eternal rest grant unto Aunty Terry, O Lord,
And let perpetual light shine upon you
May you rest in peace
