In loving memory of John Crandell Smith, who sadly passed away on 30th October 2025.

John was truly the life and soul of every gathering. His laughter and warmth touched everyone who knew him, and his absence leaves a void that can never be filled. He will be dearly missed by his family and countless friends.

In his honour, we invite you to join us in supporting Mountbatten Hampshire, which provides free care and support for anyone living with a life-limiting illness. Your contribution will ensure that his legacy of love and generosity makes a lasting impact.

No only was John a great customer of mine but was an even better friend. Memories will stay with me of times spent in the Bellmoor Pub with my Dad and John, absolutely hilarious times. He loved a laugh and standard mickey take. I bet those two are up there now, pint in hand looking down on us all.

For very special brother in law whose laughter and quick wit is now silent …
We will always miss you in one way or another only to be remembered in our thoughts and most of all in our hearts.
