An absolute gent!! Frank was my garage man whenever my car broke which was nearly all the time. He was extremely kind and caring and worked so hard. He was sympathetic and would do anything he could to help me. Whilst pregnant I would sit in his garage office with his lovely wife and himself and we would guess what gender my baby was going to be after telling me my car was fixed!! Such a kind hearted family. My deepest condolences. Thankyou for everything frank, thanks for teaching me that not everything that is broken is impossible to fix. Sending hugs, “ the girl with the silver Corsa/ Mini Cooper “ x

Passed away peacefully at home in Nottingham – 3rd October 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Frank, who died peacefully in his sleep at home on the 3rd of October 2025, after succumbing to complications relating to heart failure. He was 77 years old.
Born in Montecatini, Italy, in 1947, Frank moved to Nottingham with his family as a young boy. He quickly grew to love his new home and became a well-known and much-loved member of the community. A hardworking and dedicated man, Frank ran local garages for nearly 60 years, earning the respect and friendship of generations of customers and colleagues alike.
Frank will be remembered for his kindness, his generosity, sometimes his short temper, but also his unwavering sense of humour.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The British Heart Foundation or The Nottinghamshire Hospice, whose support and care were invaluable to Frank and his loved ones.
May he rest in peace.
