I will forever be grateful for the memories I have with Sam and it is an honour to have known someone so special, kind and caring. He touched so many lives and will be deeply missed. I will always hold on to the moments that made him such a special part of my life growing up 🤍

So very sorry for youe loss Sue Tom and Alice - so many memories of sleepovers and playdates with Sam Alice and Jack back in nursery days - my heart breaks for your sadness - Sam was a beautiful special soul - all my love to you xxx

A privilege to attend the funeral today where the vast numbers attending showed how much his life had affected so many.

The years working with you on the beach won't be forgotten, the funny and awkward situations we found ourselves in trying not laugh in front of the public. The lives you saved and helped save you're a legend.

Sam was one of the nicest guys I’ve had the pleasure of knowing and he’ll be such a huge miss to everyone.

I’m so sorry to hear of Sam’s passing. I had the privilege of working with him as a beach lifeguard, and his warmth and kindness were felt by everyone around him. He had a way of making people feel welcome and cared for, and his smile always brought a sense of ease to those nearby.
