Sorry we won’t be able to attend the ceremony (but will watch it online). Mrs Collins (Nicky’s mum to us) will be remembered as a kind, and caring host, always interested in our lives with genuine curiosity. Conversations were always easy and uplifting, with her generous nature always evident. She was a special mum who we were honoured to get to know a little. In 2024 we visited and she made us very welcome of course making us a delicious cake. It was lovely to know her.

Thank you to dear Rosemary for the fondest of memories of her warm hospitality when we were students at Bristol UWE with Pete and we would be so kindly hosted by Pete at his childhood home in Holmbury and what a great legacy Rosemary leaves behind.

All my memories of dear Rosemary are happy ones, a Natural Nurse, awonderful home-maker, wife, mother * grandmother, a superb gardener, & a fabulous cook - The Hostess with the Mostess. Sadly, I must say my farewell at the funeral in Kew, a friend whom she knew too, & even younger than me, & I am godmother to one of her 3 sons. I pray that the will both lie in peace in Paradise.

So sorry I can’t be with you on the day to say farewell to your mum Nicky.
I always enjoyed tea and chats with her on our visits from Whitelands. I still don’t like bonfire tea though!

Much love

Cath
