It’s with a heavy heart we say goodbye.
Up above you go, whispering, don’t shed a tear, don’t you cry.

We’ll still shed a tear; we’ll miss you so.
But we know you’re at peace, and you needed to go.

We celebrate your life, the laughter, the love,
Now joined with those waiting for you above.

Your legacy shines in the hearts you’ve touched,
A life well-lived, and loved so much.

Strong-willed, no-nonsense, funny and neat.
This isn’t goodbye, one day we’ll meet.

We look up with pride for all that you’ve done,
Your warmth and your spirit will live on in everyone.

Goodbye, dear Mum, Grandma, Sister, Aunty and Friend,
We’ll feel your warmth in every smile you send.
