In loving memory of Edna "Jean" Green who sadly passed away on 30th October 2025. She leaves behind her husband, Gerry of 50 years, plus her daughters (Claire & Laura); sons-in-law (John & Chris); and three granddaughters (Sophie, Lily & Megan).

Jean loved to travel and visited many countries and even lived in both the USA and Hong Kong. She enjoyed trips to the theatre, spending time with friends and family and relaxing with a good book or crossword.

We’d love for friends and family to join us as we say goodbye to Jean. It would mean so much to have you with us, both at the funeral (Southend Crematorium) and at the reception (Saxon Hall) afterwards.

We kindly ask to not gift flowers, but if you wish to do something in Jean's memory, it would be much appreciated if you made a donation to Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis. You can donate online via this page or through donations at the funeral.

This page has been created to celebrate the life of Jean. Please feel free to leave messages and share memories/photos of your time spent with Jean.

Remembering a lovely friendship and all the happy times we enjoyed on our days out to so many places over what must be more than 30 years. Whether it was to a show, a play, a musical, museums, coach trips, London landmarks or just lunch or coffee, it was always fun. Jean always loved visiting Buckingham Palace but I think our most memorable day out has to be Hampton Court.
