Dad, how has it’s been over three months since she passed away and tomorrow will be two months since your funeral. It doesn’t feel real. Today I’ve gone through your donation box and I’ve donated the money that people left. I remember your sendoff like it was yesterday. I remember going to the circus like it was yesterday or seeing you at the gym, Or are you meeting us at the airport or you going on a rollercoaster with Charlotte. All of that in the three months prior to your passing. This will never feel real. I feel so alone without you, I constantly feel sick and sad and distraught and I really can’t see a way to go on. I love you forever, Dad. Wait for me and make sure you greet me. In the meantime, come and visit. I saw a Robin a few weeks ago sitting on my path, we don’t have Robins around here, let alone outside my house, on my path, and I know that was you and the way you looked at me and then flew off. I love you Dad forever ever and ever. Night Dad, Love you millions, billions, trillions, dillions, villions, all that, dollar, love heart and a kiss xxxx

In Loving Memory of Peter Colson
Who sadly passed away on 18th October 2025
Known to his friends as Pete, and to his family as a beloved Dad, Grandad, Uncle, and Brother.
My dad was taken from us far too soon, and my heart feels broken without him here. He brought endless laughter, joy, and happiness to my life — without him, I feel completely lost. Our children, Charlotte and Rupert, feel his absence deeply. Their “silly Grandad” filled their world with excitement, love, and warmth. They adored each other completely; the moment they caught a glimpse of him, everything else stopped as they ran into his arms.
We are finding it hard to navigate life without him. There is an emptiness now — a sense that life doesn’t quite feel real.
We are deeply grateful for your kindness, sympathy, and support during this profoundly difficult time. Your care and compassion are sincerely cherished.
Please feel free to share any photos, light a candle, or leave a message on this page in Pete’s memory.
Donations, if desired, can be made to Cancer Research UK or Cats Protection — two causes close to his heart.
