To mum.
Thank you for everything!!
Sometimes there are not enough words to capture the essence of a truly thankful couple of hearts, and to put them onto paper. This is my way of saying you were one in a million. You will never know the difference you have made.
We say this with unconditional, unending love. XXXXX

In loving memory of Peggy Marina Kubala who sadly passed away on 15th October 2025
Our Mum (Peggy) was born on the 14th of October 1934 in Harleston Norfolk, and she was the younger daughter of Gladys and Thomas Reeder, younger sister to Dorothy. She married Stanislaw Kubala on the 9th of June 1956. Their wedding was in the parish church in Alburgh. My mother and father had three children (Stefan, Irena, and Henryk).
Mum enjoyed a range of pastimes in her latter years, from playing carpet bowls in Pulham Market village hall to attending Classical Concerts, especially at Christmas time in the Royal Albert Hall. She always enjoyed the time she spent here immensely. Mum had been to the Coronation Ball on the 27th May 1953 in the Royal Albert Hall and the Coronation of (Queen Elizabeth II) in Westminster Abby on the 2nd of June 1953. This was a very prominent memory for her.
One of mums favorite activities was checking every garden centre in Norfolk for tetley tea and roses. On our travels around she would always make sure to have her own tea bags with her in case the place we went to did not have her longevity drink.
Our family had lived in Pulham Market and Pulham St Mary for many years before mum moved up to Easton near Norwich in 2022 for the last years of her life. Where she enjoyed going to the Good Companions Club, which had a variety of activities from gambling on the horses to fundraising events for the local community. She also shared her 90th birthday here surrounded by her family, old friends and the good companions. It was a wonderful party, that was enjoyed by everyone who attended.
She would say, “I am an Old Croc” and give a wry, mischievous smile. This was always a way for her to get me (Henryk) not to be so serious. I will always remember her this way, as will my siblings.
I will now take this opportunity to thank Mum for being my protector throughout her life and mine. Mum is very sadly missed by us. Mum will always be remembered with love and affection throughout our lives. (From Henryk and Alicja)
