I cant find the words to express how sad I am after hearing that Ian had passed away, he was a true gentleman and lived life to the full, I am shocked and my heart goes out to you Anne.

In loving memory of Ian Hunter who sadly passed away on 21st October 2025.
Ian, who was loving husband to wife Anne, loving son to John and Doreen Hunter, loving sister to Andrea Hunter, was taken abruptly from us on Tuesday 21st October, following surgery to his heart at Castle Hill Hospital in the late afternoon. Sadly, he did not recover and succumbed to heart disease which caused his heart to fail.
Ian was so well liked by friends, family, work colleagues and customers throughout his life. He enjoyed life to the full, mountain biking, kayaking, roller skating, body boarding, walking, motorycycling, caravaning, camping, travelling - he loved being active and had a soft spot for visiting Scotland. Whilst we never had children, he doted on the various pets we had during our relationship, particularly the current three cats he has left with me, and all who know he is absent. Sleep soundly dear husband, and await our renunion some time, but not yet. xx Your loving wife, Anne.

For those who are not aware, there will be a celebration held at The Old Scalby Pub, near the sea life centre, after the funeral. Light refreshments will be served, please feel free to attend.
