Vern passed away with his girls by his side at Poplars nursing home on 17th October 2025, aged 83 years. Beloved husband to Christine, devoted dad of Deanne and Leah, adoring grandad of Sienna Von Chrisdee and Elysee Von Chrisdee, father in law to Patrick and Paul.

Family flowers only please.

I remember Vern from his Hawkins Lane handbag shop. He was a great character easy to talk to. He worshipped his family and he has left plenty of special memories for them to look back on. R.I

So sorry to hear of your loss. Knew Vern from many many years ago when he ran the shop with his Mother at top of Hawkins Lane . Lovely man always had time to stop for a chat.
