In loving memory of Kevin 'Kev' Brennan who sadly passed away on 19th October 2025.

My Kev, the love of my life, my rock, hero, and my safe place, was one of a kind — a true man’s man with a heart big enough for the whole world. Down to earth, honest, and always ready to help anyone, he didn’t wait to be asked; helping people was just part of who he was.

He was straight-talking and full of integrity — what you saw was what you got with him, and I admired him for it. He’d stand his ground when he believed in something, but he was also humble enough to say sorry if he was wrong. He could light up any room he walked into with his quick wit, easy charm, and that cheeky grin that could disarm anyone. It certainly melted my heart, every single time. He made people laugh, and he made them feel at ease — that was his quiet magic. That was just Kev — effortless, genuine, and larger than life.

Kev valued the simple things in life: a good day’s work, a pint of Guinness at the local with the lads, a bit of banter, a round of golf, and coming home to the person he loved. He didn’t need glamour or fuss — he was happiest just being himself.

Even through illness, his thoughts were never about himself but about others, always worrying more for those he loved than for his own pain. That is who he was — strong, humble, loving, and endlessly giving.
He leaves behind laughter, warmth, and memories that can never fade. Those who were lucky enough to know him will never forget him — his heart of gold, his larger-than-life spirit, and the way he made everyone’s world just a little brighter. He was a true gentleman, one of a kind and an absolute legend.

If Kev could read this, he’d probably shrug at all this and say, “I’m just me.”
And that’s exactly why he was so special. And to me, he was everything.
