In loving memory of Shane Donnelly, aged 36.
Shane sadly passed away on Tuesday 7th October at 14.17pm. His death was extremely sudden and completely unexpected. Currently Shane’s cause of death has been ruled inconclusive to date, we hope for some closure in the near future as to what took such a kind hearted young man from us too soon.
Shane heartbreakingly left behind his two young children; Kealan and Cillian, just aged 8 and 15 months. His boys were his absolute world, as was he to his boys.
We have created this online obituary as a place to share condolences, memories and photographs as a way to remember Shane and the incredible impact he had on each and everyone of us.
Shane was so kind, thoughtful and generous towards anyone and everyone he met throughout his life. If you needed a favour, he would be there in a heartbeat. If you needed someone to talk to, he would be at the other end of the phone, always. If you needed a friendly face, Shane’s would be the face you would want to see.
Let’s celebrate Shane, as he would want us too. Please do share your memories of him, stories, photographs. Let us come together and remember him for the fantastic man he was.
Shane, you will truly be missed by everyone that knew you. You were a true diamond in the rough, rest in peace 💙
Funeral Information:
Shane’s funeral will take place at Hither Green Crematorium at 1pm on Friday 21st November 2025.
We understand not everyone will be able to attend in person, so we will have a live streaming of the funeral available for those who would like to attend virtually.
