In loving memory of George Crichton who sadly passed away on 9th October 2025.

Our family warmly invite all who knew and loved our dad to join us in celebrating his life.

Funeral service will be held on Monday 10th November at Southend crematorium at 11am. We will be having a wake to follow at The Rose Inn, Great Wakering. All welcome to join us and raise a glass and honour his life.

On our way to the southend crematorium, we will be passing through the Garons golf club (reception/car park area). The golf club was a place very close to dad's heart, where he loved spending his spare time. If anyone would like to pay their respects at this time, we will be passing through approximately 10:30-10:45am.

Family flowers only please.

Thank you.
Alex & David

My Uncle George loved his family. A man whose tales would light up the room and bring a smile to any table. A man whose song with his brother would have all and sundry lifting their spirits and glasses. A man who loved his own family and new grandson more fiercely than any. A man who will be missed. Farewell, George, you will never be forgotten.

I met George whilst playing golf and then we regularly played together until I moved out of Southend. They were fun and typically golf wise, good and frustrating games.
As we lived a few minutes walk from where George lived, he often joined Debbie and me for a Saturday evening meal and a drink. We particularly enjoyed George joining us on New Year’s Eve.
He was very supportive to me during the last 5 years while Debbie has been ill.
He was a great friend and I miss him.
