My cousin Tony has always held a special place in my heart, even though oceans and everyday life kept us from seeing each other often. He had a way of making you feel welcome and connected .
One of the things I treasure most is the bobby hat he gave me nearly 30 years ago. It has followed me through every move, through every chapter, and now it has found its home at our lodge. Guests always ask about it, and I get to tell them about my cousin Tony — kind, steady, good-humored, and unforgettable. The hat has become a meaningful thread and treasure that ties him into my life every single day.
I will hold his memory close, always.
My deepest condolences to Pam and the whole family.
Sending my love across the miles.
With love

God bless
Colleen

Funeral Director
In loving memory of Anthony (Tony, TT, or simply T) Thomas who sadly passed away on 19th October 2025.
A loving husband, dedicated father and devoted grandfather.
Known and remembered by many.
An inspiring and intriguing person, who made friend's and sparked people's interests from an early age.
Initially as a competitive swimmer and swimming coach. Then as an electrical engineer at Lawton Electrics, before devoting his working life to serving the people of West Yorkshire and beyond. That only continued after he retired, when he took on other responsibilities and inspired all who met him in that role.
A reliable and dependable person, and very knowledgeable. That knowledge was drawn on by many, without any hesitation, or expectation of anything in return.
He inspired many, be it people's careers, or in being a better person and doing the right thing.
He will be sorely missed.
He spent his last few days in Overgate Hospice, one of which was his birthday. The staff did an amazing job looking after both him and his family. Please let his legacy be remembered by making a donation to Overgate Hospice either via this site or if you are able to attend his celebration of life (funeral) please make a donation there.
