Ian passed away suddenly at Queen's Hospital on 10th October 2025, aged 64 years. Beloved husband to Anita, loving dad of Rachel, Gareth, Liam and Mark, treasured grandad to Sydney, Ethan, Jackson and Amber, and a loving brother and uncle.

My Grandad was one of the most funniest people I knew. I will always treasure those nights we spent together watching this history channel, and when we went to investigate that bang in my room! I never knew what a dad's love was but you gave me so much of it. Thank you for being the best Grandad ever. Ill miss you so much and your silly jokes. Ill ever cherish the memory of you popping up in the front window scaring me to death🤣. I love you.
