The Memory Café runs once a month, on the third Wednesday of the month at Winton House, we meet from 2.30pm until 4.00 pm held in Winton’s Community Café at Winton House, when weather permits in the garden. We welcome people living with dementia and their carers or family members. Hot drinks and cake are served in a café setting. Usually a quiz and a theme for the afternoon. Popular themes have been games, school days, October fest and birds. We also hold craft sessions and have made angels for the Nativity Festival at the Methodist Church Hall. We usually have a musician that leads us in singing for the last half hour.
