On 21st September 2025, at his home with his family at his side, aged 79 years, Robert, dearly loved husband of Angela, a very proud family man, a loving dad of Cheryl, Hayley, Victoria, Vanessa, Rebecca, Daniel, Martin and the late Graham, a very dear father-in-law, to Richard, Nik, Leanne, Becky & the late Mark.
A beloved grandad to Hannah, Chantelle, Dominic, Melissa, Lewis, Charlotte, Courtney, Ebony, Elle.
Harrison, Heidi, Amelia, Mia, Lacey, Gracie, Lyla, Harper, Luca and Cole
and great-grandad to Evie, Dylan, Marky, Theodore, Bodhi, Lilia, Willow, August, Mason, River and Honey, also a very loved brother, brother in law ,uncle and a very dear friend to many. “Well, I’ll never be forgotten!”
Funeral service will be held at Holy Spirit RC Church on Thursday 16th October 2025 at 11.30am, followed by committal at Dewsbury Crematorium at 12.30pm. Family and friends are welcome to attend both services, with a celebration for his life taking place afterwards at Oakwell Hall Barn from 1:30pm onwards.
Family flowers only, donations in Robert’s memory may be made online or placed in the collection box provided at the service for the benefit of Heckmondwike Iron Arms Boxing Gym as this was a passion close to his heart.
