In loving memory of David Didino who sadly passed away on 11th September 2025, age 66 years.
David was a very much loved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

We are sure that everyone will agree that he was always an upbeat, positive and genuine person that was interested in the lives of those around him.

We are so very sad to have lost him far too soon but his memory will continue to guide us through our lives.

To a true gentleman who played the game of golf as it was intended to be played. Dave will be sorely missed by all his friends in The Merlins Golf Society and will always be remembered by all of us who had the privilege of having played with him.

Dave, Fran's Dad, a true family man who Fran always spoke so highly of and who i had the pleasure to get to know and spend time with. An absolute English gent who is going to missed beyond comprehension, a sign of the love he bought to everyone around him. Dave, thank you for the warmest of hugs, it felt like a little bit of home each time I saw you in Sydney. Thank you for enjoying the gin without the tonic ;), the Christmas games and early day flower "experiences" and thank you for bringing me Fran, the best friend I could ask for. Sending so much love xxx

I feel grateful, truly grateful, to have had the opportunity to meet David. I remember when Fran used to tell me about her dad, his beliefs, the way he was, and some of his thoughts. Every time, I would say, I’m his biggest fan! I love that guy! I’m just like him in many ways! We would laugh and say she’s dating her dad. He was always supportive, positive, straightforward, and an example of a father and a man. Today, he inspires me to become a better man every day when I think about him. The bar is really high, and I want him to be proud of his amazing daughter and our family. I feel so blessed that when I think about him, I feel love and gratitude for the family he created and that I’m able to be a part of. He will forever be loved and missed in our hearts. Although I knew him for a short time, his impact will stay with me until the end.
