Colin and Janice Ellis donated £30 in memory of Mike

Mike you were a larger than life character, we will miss the banter, especially around football. Colin will forgive you for supporting the Reds!
And I will miss your Liverpool accent and the way you said Alright Jan whenever we met.
You will be missed lots of love Colin and Jan xx

Well, what can I say?! Uncle Mike was certainly a character!! He always had time for a cuppa tea and a chat. His stories of the “old days” or stories about him and mandad (Brian) always made me chuckle and smile. Every time he saw me, he’d always say “Liverpool” more than a few times knowing it’d make me laugh as I loved his accent. Uncle Mike was so caring, loving and kind. I remember the countless times my friends and I would go to Glastonbury carnival on the coach and he’d be working and say “just gimmie a call whenever you need me” and he’d always turn up to pick us up and drop us all home, no matter the time or even if he wasn’t working! I remember we all tried to pay him, every single time, but one time he said “don’t be so silly. I love ya” and threw the money out the window while he drove off!! Uncle Mike may not have been a blood relation to me but he will forever be a part of my family and have a place in my heart. I cannot imagine the hole his passing has left for you all but I know I will miss him, his kindness and his funny ways. I just hope he’s with mandad, having a beer whilst watching the game(s) and looking down on us all ❤️
