Our beloved Mum, Pam, passed away peacefully on 12th September 2025 aged 77.

Pamela Ann Stanton was born on 16th October 1947 in Romford, Essex to Alfred & Ann Whyman. Pam & Jeff moved to Chelmsford where John was born and then to Rayleigh where Tracy was born and where Pam then stayed for almost 30yrs.

She is loved and missed by her children John & Tracy and by her grandchildren; Rhys, Isla, Molly & Finn.

Pam could turn her hand to almost anything creative and loved sewing, flower arranging cross stitch, gardening and baking.
She brought happiness and joy into our lives with her kind heart, big smile and caring nature and we were all fortunate to know her and feel her warmth.

I met Pam on her first solo holiday to Austria many years ago. We hit it off straightaway and remained close friends thereafter. We shared days out, lunches and enjoying each others company. There was always so much laughter between us let alone the extent of talking. I had met my match by Pam's conversational skills. She was a dear friend who I miss very much.

We shall greatly miss Pam. Family was so important to her. She supported us when Jean, my mum and Pam's sister, died.
Her love and down to earth advice were always appreciated. Her smile and laughter brightened our lives.

Pam and myself 2004. We worked together for years sharing our lunch breaks. We had day trips and wonderful holidays abroad including Kenya, the Caribbean and the USA. She was my best friend and a lovely lady.

Always a favourite with my father Roy, I remember the excitement of being one of Pam's bridesmaids. Gone too soon, but at peace now.
