Karen Elizabeth Thomas (Dibb) (20 Jul 1964 - 10 Sep 2025)

In loving memory of Karen Elizabeth Thomas, who sadly passed away on the 10th September 2025.

We are holding a private cremation service for mum, which will only be attended by immediate family in late September. We would like to see as many of mum's friends at the Celebration of Life Service on Friday the 17th October 2025 from 14:00-17:00.

For everyone who knew our mum, we know you will understand why we are asking you all to attend her Celebration of Life, rather than a traditional funeral. As after all, mum lived life to the full and would have wanted her final goodbye to be one that is full of people, full of life and with everyone enjoying a drink and smiling.

We hope to see everyone there, wearing colour rather than black.

Anyone who knew mum well, would know that she absolutely adored elephants.

Whilst in her twenties, she visited Sri Lanka and was able to meet and feed the baby elephants. Since then, her love for them continued to grow.

As a family, we have no doubt that mum would want to raise money for the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, who specialise in helping orphaned baby elephants. If anyone wishes to donate, this would be a very special tribute to Mum, as we know she would rather this than flowers or gifts.
