In loving memory of Matilda Maguire, 'Tilly', who sadly passed away on 12th September 2025. Tilly was the kindest of people and saw the good in everyone. She loved her family, friends and was very sociable. In her last 10 years she really did live life to the fullest. She always missed her Tom and we take comfort knowing she is now reunited with him.

We are devastated our mum has left us so suddenly. We would like to celebrate her life and give her a true 'Tilly' send off. Everyone is welcome.

Many thanks, Amanda and Natasha, Tilly's daughters.

Please see details below and use the Attendance tab on the obituary to let us know if you are able to attend the funeral, wake or both, to allow us to cater for numbers, or message Amanda 07887512817.

Funeral Service:
Friday 17th October 2025 1pm - Bramcote Crematorium, NG9 3GJ.

Wake:
Afterwards at the Victory Club, 75 Station Road, Beeston, NG9 2AW, until late! (please note parking is restricted, we will add further details of where to park shortly).

Dress code:
Come as you wish, however, Tilly would say come as colourful as you can!

Funeral Bus:
Tilly spent many days in Nottingham town centre, and she passed away there at a bus stop, on her way to her best friend Flo's for a night at the Victory Club. We will be providing a 72 seater bus to collect the Monday and Wednesday club friends, and any other friends, from Parliament Street around 12.30ish, which will then join the funeral cortege and drive through Nottingham town centre, past a few of her favourite pubs, on to Bramcote, and then onto The Victory Club. You can then enjoy a drink and get a taxi home!

If you would like a seat on the bus, please message Natasha on 07837168233, with your name and number of people. Final details will be confirmed closer to the time. We hope a lot of Tilly's town friends will join the bus and follow Tilly on her last journey.
