On 13th September 2025, peacefully at Linson Court, Batley, formerly of Thornhill Lees, Dewsbury, aged 88 years, Shirley, dearly loved wife of the late David, much loved mother of Susan and Andrew, very dear mother-in-law of Effi, cherished grandma of Sean, Michael, Michelle, Ella, Lola, Aviv, Ziggy and great grandma of Ryan, Millie, Alexander. Gabriel and Matilda. Funeral service will take place at Dewsbury Moor Crematorium on Wednesday 24th September 2025 at 9.45am. Relatives and friends please accept this intimation and meet at the crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu may be made online or placed in the collection box provided for the benefit of the Alzheimer’s Society. Mourners are requested to wear a touch of baby blue in memory of Shirley, a colour she wore on her wedding day.
