In loving memory of John Day who sadly passed away on 24 August 2025. John was a cherished husband, father, and grandfather who touched the lives of everyone with his kindness and generosity. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Please join us in remembering and celebrating John's wonderful life. Let us keep his memory alive in our hearts and honour the legacy he leaves behind.

13.00: Honor Oak Crematorium, Brockley Way, London SE3 2LW
14.30-21.30: Wake @ "Arry's Bar, Millwall Football Club

Either put your name and then 'x the number of the people in your group' (for example, 'John Smith x 3'), or complete a separate RSVP for each person attending. We expect the funeral to be very well-attended so we need to know how many are coming.
Only close family will bring flowers. If you would like to donate money to charity in memory of John, then we would very much appreciate donations to the Greenwich and Bexley hospice that provided John with such exceptional care during his final weeks. You can do this using the JustGiving link at the top of this page.
There’s no parking at the Church. Burney Street car park is a 5 minute walk from the Church or find alternative roads/car parks nearby.
Dress code: black attire.
